Info: A quiet, dark man, Gunner Stryfe joined the crew on Silnari station with the intention of discovering if Zap had really lost his memories or if he had fled their operations of his own free will. After meeting with Zap, Gunner realized that his old friend had indeed lost his memories and resolved to retrain him and eventually restore Zap to his previous state. Serious and brooding, Gunner is constantly frustrated with Zap's new personality.

To the GEF Gunner is only known as the Serpent. He used his psychic abilities to manipulate President Billings into allowing him to run the Universal Psychic Academy where Gunner set in motion actions that would create an army of psychics for his disposal.

Gunner's specialty lies in telekenesis. He is able to manipulate objects and even people by using his mind. Quiet and observant, Gunner keeps the majority of his thoughts private. His main concern has been to retrieve his childhood friend Zap so that they can resume their plans of controlling the psychic army amassed by the GEF under Gunner's instructions as the Serpent.

Gunner has no respect for non-psychic beings, though he has maintained a long term relationship with the felinian Naveed Catlos despite her lack of psychic abilities.

In situations where his psychic abilities are not enough, Gunner relies on two pistols, Trontarion Scorpians, and controls the bullets with his powerful telekenesis. This allows him to alter the trajetory of the bullets so that as long as he can sense his target he will not miss.
